IN NORTHERN GERMANY
Since the 1970 we are an independent company in the German cavern industry with many years of experience and expertise in mining and oil/gas midstream business. In Blexen (Nordenham) we operate a salt cavern storage facility for storing petroleum products with a total capacity of around 2.2 million m³. Currently parts of the strategic petroleum reserves are stored in our caverns. Therefore we are an important part of the German petroleum resevere strategy. Because of our independent connection to the jetty on the Weser, we guarantee the ability to export large quantities of petroleum products at any time.
STATE OF TECHNOLOGY
Between 2017 and 2020 around 26 million Euro (26.000.000 €) were invested in the infrastructure of the cavern storage in Blexen. This was related to the complete modernization of both the underground and surface technology. For this reason our infrastructure is one of the most modern and safest cavern storage facility in the Federal Republic of Germany.
In order to guarantee the state of technology in the future, we continuously invest in our infrastructure and facilites.
